Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Birmingham, UK. This grand building was constructed in 1833 and refurbished in 1869 by Castle Bromwich architect John Gibson. It was originally the National Provincial Bank of England and later the National Westminster Bank. It was named Bennetts before being renamed Lost and Found in 2014. The huge interior is decorated based on the life of fictional Hettie G. Watson, a Victorian botany scholar (the bar is referred to as "Birmingham's best Victorian botanical hideaway").
Although it is more of a cocktail bar than a pub, I was able to enjoy a Wainright Gold from Carlsberg Marston's Brewing Company in nearby Woverhampton. A nice start to my Birmingham pub crawl.
