Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Brussels. By recommendation of Tony, the bartender at the Delirium Cafe, I took a long walk to check out this new microbrewery. Founded in 2019, it is an artisanal brewery that specializes in IPAs, wild and sour beers, and barrel aged/classic styles. Located in a huge warehouse shared by other beverage and culinary businesses, they had just celebrated their 5th anniversary and still had some celebratory beers on tap. They have 20 taps, 5 of which are delivered right from their serving tanks. Some really interesting beers included a chili lime sour and a Thai basil lime sour. The bartender Denise was very knowledgeable about the beers and helped me select three to enjoy - Heron, a Brett IPA- Vipere, a Sour IPA- and Lamuete, a hazy IPA from the tank. All were delicious and had a bit of the Belgian funkiness that I love. Kudos to this young brewery!
