I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Paris. Established in 1964. The first stop on my beer journey in Paris. Quite a selection of beers - 150+ bottles and 12 taps. My beer of choice was Cadette IPA from Brasserie Castelain in Benifontaine France. Billed as a New England IPA (I didn't find it very hazy), it was nicely balanced and brewed with Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra hops (some of my favorites!), giving it a lovely citrusy flavor and aroma. I sat outside and watched Paris go by - off to a good start!
