Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Liverpool. Opened in 1958 by Allan Williams, the Beatles' first manager. He also managed Gerry and the Pacemakers and Rory Storm and the Hurricanes (Ringo Starr was their drummer). The club's basement was where the Beatles auditioned drummer Pete Best, rehearsed (in exchange for painting murals on the walls), and performed their first gigs under the name the Silver Beetles (being paid with beans on toast and Coca Cola). I enjoyed a Liquid Vinyl Ale brewed by Jacaranda Brewing, a Nano Brewery in Southwell, Nottinghamshire.
