Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Paris. Located on Rue St. Denis, a nice pedestrian zone in the 1st Arrondissement. The pub has a long narrow seating area in front of the bar and a cozy covered area out front (you know where I decided to sit!). 18 beers on tap, mostly French and Belgian. I had to go with the Cuvee des Trolls from Brasserie Dubiusson in Leuze-en-Hainuat, Belgium (founded in 1769). An unfiltered strong blonde ale, the addition of dried orange peel during the boiling process helps to give it a lovely fruity aroma. And how could I not choose it with its colorful name and character? A great place to relax after my morning at the Musee Picasso.
