Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Gloucester. The building dates back to 1314 and was originally known as St. Nicholas House, owned by the Whittington family. It became a pub in 1980 and is named for the family's most famous son who was Lord Mayor of London three times. In 1574 Elizabeth I visited the pub. Spacious wood timbered ceiling rooms surround the central bar. No cask ales, so Carling Lager from Burton-On-Trent was my beer of choice.
