Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

Liverpool. Located directly across from the Lime Street Railway Station (it is the first thing many travelers see as they exit the station), it dates from 1859. It was rebuilt in 1905 by Peter Walker and Co. of Warrington and Burton-upon-Trenet in the Art Nouveau style.
The interior features lots of polished marble, wood paneling, original fireplaces and bar back, plus the elaborate moulded plaster ceilings and cornices, etched glass and a great bar. A beautiful staircase leads to the former billiards room.
Such a beautiful and fabulous place to sit and enjoy a beer (a Farne Island ale from Hadrian brewery from Newcastle upon Tyne). A new brewery for me - it was quite a tasty brew. Lots of people to observe and talk to as they come and go from the train station. A great hang!
