Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Chelsea. The original Cooper's Arms was licensed in 1831 as a beer house, demolished in 1874, and rebuilt 40 feet from its original position to allow for the extension of Redsdale Street into Queen Street. (Coopers are makers of barrels and casks, and there are only one or two coopers left in the UK!). The beautiful corner building opens to an L-shaped bar surrounded by lots of tables. There is a room behind the bar and a small beer garden outside in the back. It is one of only 2 Young's pubs in Chelsea. I enjoyed a break from the holiday madness in the beer garden with a Winter Warmer and a couple of mince pies.
