Pubs with Bruce
I've been a beer lover all my life and I love to travel. Combining these is the ultimate experience. As I've traveled, I've immersed myself in the history and folklore of the places I've visited. Join me on my beer journeys. Okay, it's not as good as actually being there, but who knows? You may be inspired to enjoy travels (and beers) of your own.

London, Soho. The pub has been on this site since at least 1731. It is thought that a shuttle service ran from the pub to Smithfield Market, a starting point for coaches traveling north. The small interior features a front facing bar, dark red tinned ceiling, green tiles, a large brewery mirror on one wall, and two windowed walls facing out on Charring Cross Road and Compton Street. It is a Shepherd Neame pub (Britain's oldest brewery and one of my favorites) and is one of my go-to pubs when attending the theatre in this part of the West End. I enjoyed a nice Christmas Ale and sat by the window watching London pass by.
